Using Free Search Engines for Finding People Online
An Internet search engine can be an effective way to find people you are looking for using reverse phone lookups. Often people you are looking for will be found in a search results listing after typing in their name (or part of their name) as many have a known (or unknown) web presence.
For example, most people will be found in a search engine result listing because they have been included in a newspaper article, are associated with a special club or place of employment, or have their own web site or web business. The information you find from your search can help in tracking down that person you are looking for.

Some tips to improve your search engine results
- Be specific -- enter as much information as you know about the person
- Use the + to include all the key words you are searching for. Joe + Smith + California will return pages with all three keywords
- Use the - to limit your search results. Joe + Smith + California - Los Angeles will return pages with Joe Smith California on them -- but NOT Los Angeles
- Use quotes to specify an exact phrase match "Joe Smith" will return only those pages that have the exact name specified within the quotes
- Use lower case letters. JOE SMITH will return JOE SMITH (in most search engines) but joe smith will return Joe Smith, JOE SMITH, and joe smith
- Do not limit yourself to one search engine. Use both national, international, market specific, and local search engines when attempting to locate a missing person
