No Public Cell Phone Directory? No Worries, We've Got Cell Phone Lookup!

Cell phones, cell phones - everywhere we look, there are more and more new cell phones coming out every day - better, cheaper, totally versatile. Everyone, or just about, has a cell phone. When they buy it, it's all the rage with the coolest applications; until tomorrow, when a new, even more awesome cell phone comes out and dims the current phone's limelight. With all the competition and a growing number of cell phone owners, is anyone keeping track of the millions of new cell phone numbers? How is anyone going to be able to find anyone else?

The landlines are totally on the way out. Do you know what happens to those yellow phone books they leave at everyone's door? They distributed them in my building yesterday morning; by nighttime those piles of phonebooks were spilling out of recycling bins. Has anyone bothered to create some kind of replacement, a resource for us to refer to when we must find a cell phone number? In other words, where is the cell phone directory? There isn't one. A cell phone directory is not likely to exist for many years to come, until people figure out that their compulsion for privacy has cost them a way to connect with each other.

Already people are having difficulty finding each other after they move, lose touch and current contact information. If it wasn't for cell phone lookup, an online service that draws on public record databases to find people, their phone number, location and background, we would have all been wondering around our concrete jungles by now, muttering to ourselves. What good are our precious cell phones without being able to call someone? We would have had little use for them in the near future; thankfully, there is always cell phone lookup.
